Would be incredible if Yaya isn't at full fitness.

Navas vs Flanno will be his hardest test yet.

I think we'll see the team Rodgers wanted to start against West Ham although you never know, Lucas might have sealed a starting spot:

------------------Mignolet----------------
Johnson----Skrtel----Sakho----Flanno
------------------Gerrard-----------------
----------Hendo---------Allen-----------
Sterling--------------------------Suarez
------------------Sturridge---------------

With Demichaelis at the back and Kolarov/Zabaleta leaving gaps down the flanks I think we could see quite a few chances on the break (which would actually be idea for Coutinho!) but I'm nervous about the current form of Nasri and Navas to go with Toure and Dzeko..

I think we will do them.
i am more worried about the Norwich and Chelsea games

Happy with Clattenburg.

Same team as yesterday or Lucas/Allen in to handle Silva.
He'll be moving in the channels behind Stevie G.

Worried a tad about studge. He looked disinterested Sunday.

He pissed me off no end yesterday. Not expecting him to score every game but like you say he look disinterested.

Good thing is Rodgers will waste no time in hooking him and he knows it so you'd like to think he'll be much improved on Sunday.

He had an off day, shit happens. I very much doubt he's disinterested in a title challenge when we're at the top of the table.

Jesus wept.

I hope they start with Aguero. He'll be nowhere near fitness sharpness having been off for weeks with a Hamstring (his second of the season).

I really fancy us to get our noses in front early and keep on the gas.

He wasn't disinterested, he looked pissed off.
Was making runs all the time but he barely saw the ball. I actually understand why he was so pissed.
West Ham just didn't give him any space. He got his spot in the middle, he'll just have to live with the fact that he might not get the ball at every opportunity.

I felt the same way. I think that he gets frustrated with Suarez - who always seems to be more concerned with having a shot than looking for a better option.

Well, if that's the case he's barking up the wrong tree, and so are you and Sanchez. Suarez does do that sometimes but by no means all the time, and certainly no more than Studge himself.

Exactly. Studge is far greedier and less aware of his team-mates than Suarez FFS !

No that I'm complaining like. Usually.

Yep youre right JJ - thats the irony. I think Sturridge was snatching at shot after shot yesterday because he was pissed that he wasn't getting the ball when he was making viable runs. However, in his sulk, he started mimicking the behaviour that got him upset. These two (Suarez and Sturridge) need to go and have a beer together or something. I get the feeling that they don't particularly like the way each other plays - and that Rodgers feels the same way.

Hopefully the atmosphere is going to be amazing in the stadium. It should be, in fairness. It's the biggest game Anfield has seen in about a decade.

But at least that makes both of them perfect for when either one of them our out of the team and the other spearheads the attack.
And the 'compromise' when playing the two of them together have resulted in us twatting almost every team we've faced so I'm still very positive.
All of our attackers were off form (no matter how tight the defence was, Coutinho on top of his game would have easily found Sturridge running behind), and the fact we still won, with the out of form Suarez getting a penalty and hitting the upright twice, will scare the fuck out of City. Good times.

I thought he was far from disinterested and dropped deep to get involved a lot just looked utterly shattered with himself everytime he missed a score able chance.
Hopefully a slide rule ball from Coutinho gives him a nice 1v1 early on to put us 1-0 up.

We've blown every side close to us in the league at Anfield this season and in the first 20 mins too.

2 more please lads
