Ince is a midfielder on the wing who gets goals, for that reason we should be in for him
Kid sounds like a right cocksmoker.
Darn you Quicker Quipper, go ahead and sue.If you're talking about the "To Mince" quip I suggest you got back to page 2 of this thread and prepare to be sued for royalties.
Sky sources understand that Cardiff City have agreed a fee with Blackpool for winger Tom Ince.
The 21-year-old - son of Blackpool boss Paul - has flourished at Bloomfield Road since moving from Liverpool in the summer of 2011.
His performances have attracted the interest of a number of Premier League clubs, with a dramatic return to Anfield believed to have been close last January.
That move never materialised but Blackpool's failure to secure a return to the top flight last season meant it was always going to be a struggle to keep the England Under-21 international should Premier League clubs come calling.
Cardiff, who ran away with the Championship title last term, have yet to dip into the transfer market this summer as they plan for their first-ever Premier League campaign.
But an agreement is now believed to be in place to bring Ince to south Wales.

Cardiff City are waiting to hear if Blackpool starlet Tom Ince will agree to join them after the Seasiders’ boss Paul Ince said the club had accepted a ‘massive’ offer from the Bluebirds over the weekend.
The Blackpool Gazette have today reported that manager Paul Ince has confirmed the bid (believed to be in excess of £8m) for his 21-year-old son, who scored 18 goals in the Championship last season and that his chairman Karl Oyston has accepted it.
City boss Malky Mackay has been trailing Ince since promotion to the Premier League was clinched, but has previously had bids rebuffed by Blackpool chairman Karl Oyston.
Mackay upped the ante with a fresh offer in excess of £8million over the past 48 hours and this time Oyston agreed to the transfer.
The move was confirmed by Blackpool manager Ince, the former Manchester United and England captain who says it is up to Ince junior what happens next.
The 21-year-old, who fired 18 goals for Blackpool last season, has also been the target for bigger clubs. He returns from holiday soon when he will make a decision on his future.
Confirming the news, Paul Ince said: “Cardiff have come in massively for Thomas and the chairman has accepted their offer. It’s a case of when he comes back, we’ll sit down and see what we want to do.
“Thomas likes it here and has told me he’s in no rush to leave the club.”
Ince has also been linked with Liverpool, Everton and Tottenham, as well as Cardiff’s rivals Swansea City and Crystal Palace.
But the Bluebirds appear in pole position to land their man – provided Ince wants to come here – as Mackay continues strengthening his squad before the big Premier League kick-off.
Record signing Andreas Cornelius will have a medical with the club today after agreeing to an £8.5m move from FC Copenhagen.
Swansea have joined the race to sign in-demand winger Tom Ince from Blackpool.
Sky sources are reporting that talks are underway between the two clubs over the possible transfer of the England U21 international.
However, Premier League new boys Cardiff are also in the running to sign Ince, having tabled a bid believed to be in the region of £8m for the 21-year-old.
Ince's father Paul is the manager of Blackpool and said on Sunday: "Cardiff have come in massively for Thomas and the chairman has accepted their offer
"But Thomas loves it here and has told me he's in no rush to leave the club.
"I think it's 50/50 at the moment. It's a tricky one for me. Ideally you want your son to be playing in the Premier League, but you also want him to be playing for you."
Liverpool are set to make around £4million if Tom Ince moves from Blackpool.
The Reds will benefit from a 50 percent sell-on clause when the free-scoring England Under-21 star, who the Championship club bought from them in 2011, moves on.
Premier League new boys Cardiff had been front runners to land the midfielder and have agreed an £8million fee with Blackpool.
Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins claims the club are ‘staggered’ by the sums required to land Blackpool star Tom Ince.
South Wales rivals Cardiff are on the verge of sealing a £8million deal for the England Under-21 star, after the former Liverpool star agreed a £35,000-a-week contract with the Bluebirds.
And Jenkins admits, while they were interested in landing the 21-year-old earlier this summer, he’s too expensive for the Swans.
“Our manager has been keen on Tom Ince for a while, ever since he played for Blackpool against us” he told the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show. “The prices that have been quoted for Tom Ince are staggering though.
“There’s no doubt he’s going to get a move this summer, but I’m not sure where he’ll end up going.”
Cardiff City are closing in on the capture of £8m winger Thomas Ince.
The 21-year-old flyer was in the Welsh capital today to discuss personal terms with Bluebirds boss Malky Mackay.
Ince was accompanied by his father, the former England and Manchester United midfielder Paul, who is also his manager at current club Blackpool.
The Bluebirds have had an £8m offer for Ince accepted by the Tangerines and the England Under-21 star was shown around the Cardiff City Stadium today as Mackay seeks to convince the player his future lies with the Bluebirds.
Mackay has offered assurances to Ince and his father that the youngster will be a regular part of his plans in the Premier League this season.
Ince started his career at Liverpool – another of his father’s former clubs – and the Reds will pocket 35 per cent of any fee after negotiating a sell-on clause. It now looks increasingly likely that fee will be paid by the Bluebirds who have already spent £8.5m on Denmark striker Andreas Cornelius.
“We’ve had a bid accepted and Tom has been on holiday,” Mackay said last week.
“He’s back and we are going to be talking to him over the next couple of days.
“We are very keen to push things forward, he’s a young and exciting player. He needs to play football and that is something that both his dad and I realise.”
The highly-rated Ince scored 18 goals in 47 appearances for Blackpool last season.
He also hit the ground running this term when he came off the bench to score in Blackpool’s 2-0 friendly win against Penrith on Saturday.
Tom Ince has asked Cardiff City to give him until Friday to decide if he wants to join the newly promoted Premier League club.
Cardiff and Blackpool have agreed an £8m fee, rising to £8.5m, but Ince is still weighing up whether to commit his future to the Welsh club.
Ince travelled with his father, Paul, who is manager at Blackpool, to Cardiff on Monday to discuss the proposed move and get a feel for the club and the city. Cardiff felt that the talks were positive and had hoped that the England Under-21 international would agree to sign.
Ince, however, informed Cardiff on Wednesday that he has still not made up his mind. There is no indication that any other club are prepared to match Cardiff's offer for a player who will be out of contract in 12 months' time, meaning that Ince is likely to spend another season in the Championship with Blackpool if he turns down the chance to move to the Welsh capital.
