True but i meant that he's still a great keeper. Though I do understand why he isn't motivated.
Really? Poor bloke.

LOL at Shearer.Newcastle, Keegan, Shearer.
Misread the original question. Answered Sheiks question. Shearer and Keegen were(are) club legends. What success did Keegan have as a manager?? Or Shearer??
Apperantly Kenny wasnt even on Comollis shortlist for new managers.
Sarcasm or not, that deserves the sack
Would any club other than Liverpool have offered Kenny a job? I seriously doubt it.
Is it ?
This goes back to what I said last week, process v. results.
People judge Rafa as a tactical genius because of the CL win. If we'd lost a penalty shoot out you wouldn't have anything to back up the assertion - and to insist he's a tactical genius is to ignore the fact that his genius tactics had us three down in the Final. It was forced decision making that rectified things. On the flip side if Chelsea had won a penalty shoot out Avram Grant would have won them a CL, something the best manager in the world ever never managed to do at Chelsea.
Literally the only difference between then and now is Steven Gerrard wasn't completely fucking shite back in 2005. People have no idea how to rate managers, mainly because you don't take into account all of the relevant factors. They assume that if a club does well it's because the manager is doing really well - which is quite often simply not the case.
It's just lose a game - manager got his tactics wrong. Won - manager got it right. Simplistic bollocks which is typical of football.
Tactics is just like card counting in poker, it marginally shifts the odds in your favour but more often than not the best hand is still going to win. We should be focusing on putting together the best hand that we can, not marginal bollocks like tactics.
I'm not a fan of Benitez but even I'd admit that in Europe he was tactically brilliant.
Go back to RAWKIf you believe that you should pack this in and take up tiddly winks.More your level.

HahahaSome good posters here too.Not you obviously.
You think people rate Rafa as a tactical genius because of Istanbul?Really?Who have you been talking to?Selective memory if you want to leave out the other matches that got us to that final and another one really isn't it?Beating Barca in the Nou Camp, holding Juve away, the two Chelsea semis.Really you forget too much.
I said it last year that I thought the reason why the yanks were so reluctant to get rid of roy is because they wanted him to last the season and then they would get their own man in, once kenny got the job even if he was average it would have been very difficult to remove him and when he did way better than average it was IMPOSSIBLE to remove him.
I don't think there is going to be a big transfer kitty in the summer and what little there is will be eaten up if kenny is removed.

Especially given we were out of all cups bar Europa (which we went out of early in february if i remember right?)1. Most new managers get an immediate response from players.
2. Our squad was a bit better in the second half of last season
3. Our fixture list was much easier in the second half of last season.
But lets forget all that and just go for the overly simplistic approach.
yes, playing defensively and getting lucky = genius.
Anyone can do that.
All set pieces and long balls.Yeah, battering Madrid 4-0 at Anfield then going to Old Trafford a few days later and doing them 4-1. Ultra defensive Rafa.
Why I think Kenny has lost the dressing room:
The players who "more or less" got him the job, have been treated badly.
Meireles with the "fuck you gesture" which people say was directed at Lucas (no really sure about that), was for some strange (to me ) sold.
Maxi, first he's replaced by Downing and then despite him being poor, Maxi still isn't given a chance. Morale down the toilet.
Carra ahead of Coates. You might think it only affects Coates, I beg to differ. I think the entire Spanish speaking part of the squad are baffled by that decision.
Aurelio, he might not be in Kenny's plans, but I think it's a tad bit disrespectful to keep him on the bench like that. Injuries or not, he's a talented player and he has decided games for us. Why didn't he play him on wing instead of Downing, considering that he's the best (IMO) crosser in the team? Why not play him in the middle with Spearing, allowing Gerrard to push forward?
Doni, a decorated, experienced keeper. Not good enough to play in any of our cup games.
