Gomez was very good throughout, defo my Motm. Rest went about their job quietly effectively.

The Linesmen were awful tonight. There was also the time Solanke was given onside on the break ... he was a mile off, there woul dhave been hell to pay if he'd scored. And there were others.
They were bad but the conditions were horrendous most of the time. No VAR to help them either.

So :

Liverpool
Middlesbro
Port Vale
West Ham
Chelsea
Everton
Fulham
Newcastle

Anyone at home or Port Vale away thank you very much.

Jarrel Quansah vs Bournemouth

90 mins
114 touches
86 passes (most in squad)
89% pass accuracy
2/3 successful dribbles
7 clearances
2 interceptions
4/6 ground duels won
Yeah, the lad was absolutely sound in absolutely atrocious conditions. Significant step in his progression.

West Ham United
Chelsea
Everton
Fulham
Newcastle United
Middlesbrough
Port Vale

So who do we want?

Port Vale at Anfield please...

Think you might be wearing a permanent smile for that comment...

Stay the night and fly back in the morning. That would be much better than an 6 hour or whatever journey up by coach.

Tomorrow is worse on the south coast. They wouldn't have been flying until late Friday at the earliest.

Is it really a huge difference. 5 hour drive in no traffic vs drive to London or Southampton with twice as much fannying about getting everything off/on buses and getting on and off planes. An extra couple of hours watching Netflix isn’t going to harm anyone
