Considering the money we paid, the players attitude and history, yeah I'd probably go with that too.

Agreed, because he'll have competition, but Balotelli would be my choice as well. Some of the others have been lesser players, but he's been the biggest mistake.
I don't know, I'd be inclined to say joint-worst along with Diouf! Diouf might just shade it, considering he was signed in preference to Anelka.
Neither Wolves nor Port Vale make any sense at all (and that's not even considering the clubs themselves but purely from a financial standpoint). Neither would buy him so they'd just want him on loan and neither could afford his salary, so would expect a hefty contribution from us. If either offer is actually not a fabrication of someone's imagination then we should just laugh in their faces.
I don't agree. A small contribution is better than no contribution, and just getting the great lump out of Anfield will have a value all of its own.
I'd still say Diouf trumps Aquilani. Neither offered anything for their respective fees, but at least Aquilani behaved himself.

Absolutely. Some terrible transfers in there. I have less disdain for Carroll than the rest, at least he was bought for a tactical purpose (Dalglish was clearly trying to go old school with a big man/little man double act up top and wingers) and he had that game against Man City where he looked good at least.
But none of them were anywhere near good enough. You've stopped at five, but I'm sure you could name another five with minimal effort - depressing indeed, and indicative of the merry-go-round approach the club has taken to try and get back to the top.
Port Vale is bullshit, there maybe something in the Wolves part though. They have new ambitious owners, Zenga as manager, potentially signing Luisiao and the other chap from Benfica. Thst said, I doubt he'll end up there

All it would do is make him unavailable to actually sell him, reducing his salary by the pittance they could afford is pointless. Anyway this is semantics because he would never go to either of them !
