Imagine his surprise if it’s Darwin playing infront of him next season
I hope he scores 50+ goals for them and wins the Ballon d'or. I still wouldn't regret selling him.Darwin Nunez: Serie A leading scorer 25-26. You heard it here first. Get your bets in now.

BREAKING: Tottenham Hotspur have held initial discussions with Brentford about a deal for Bryan Mbeumo 🚨
Mbeumo is understood to be more intrigued by a move to Tottenham now that Thomas Frank has become their head coach.

Would be sooo funny if they lost out to Spurs again.
On the other hand, he could also be another mediocre overpay for United.
His stats are really really good. But he's over performed xG. And also just really doesn't scream out to me that he's as good as his stats suggest
I think he's very very good. Wouldn't have been upset if we'd signed him.
More importantly, there's not a lot of players queuing up to play for Utd now, regardless of fee.
Miss out on Mbeumo and Gyokeres, amd they'll be in big trouble.
No that is not their situation. They (as Beamrider has outlined I believe) are riding the razor-back now. They don't have a lot of money to throw around, must be very aware of PSR and unless they get a cash injection from somewhere are going to struggle to attract / afford top players. It's unfortunate that you can't keep Man U down permanently. They're still one of the richest clubs in the world. They'll be able to continue throwing money at the problem until they're back on top.
I know, its very sad, but they have good coaches, so maybe they can get good replacements and still compete next season like this last one otherwise its gonna have to be a sesson where draws will be like losses for those competing for the title.Sadly next season Brentford, Bournemouth, Wolves, and maybe even Palace will all be in transition/ rebuilding mode. Can see Utd getting a European spot

It's easy to see them wallowing mid-table for years. In their favour though is zero Euro football next season. Top 6/7 will still be a stretch though. especially if you look at last season's Top 10.
Wolves and Brentford sure.Sadly next season Brentford, Bournemouth, Wolves, and maybe even Palace will all be in transition/ rebuilding mode. Can see Utd getting a European spot
