That's my impression too. I was really interested in him as a Salah replacement a while ago cos his record and finishing are great, but when I've actually watched him in games he seems really limited. I don't think he's a top class player.

It's Man Utd, who else can they sign. This man comes in and could singlehandedly save them from relegation / push for Europe. signing some 21 year old future superstar would be the dumbest thing they could do.

He’s not an amazing signing. He’s a good signing imho. 26, 1 year left on his deal effectively, 250k wages and they pay 71 mill.

They never learn.

He overperformed massively last season and won’t take penalties at Utd.

They’ve now signed the two players that both overperformed massively last season in both him and Cunha.
Feels like another one of those «faaaaaaack» moments for Utd when they figure out this isn’t working.
Good signing but won’t fix their midfield issues or leaky defence.
 
One of their big issues was scoring goals. Cunha and Mbuemo will improve them. Whether it’s 130M worth of improvement we will see
 
No one else will join them besides players from the Wolves and the brentfords...

There are rumours they are after Nicholas Jackson who is valued at a 100m. That will be them done for another 2-3 seasons at least, of not challenging for anything.

He’s an outstanding signing for this Utd team.
 
I rate Mbeumo and he'll undoubtedly improve them. By how much, though - that remains to be seen. They're starting from a VERY low base.

He's a decent player that excelled last season due to the system he played in. In no world is he a great player. Next we'll be saying Chris wood is fucking generational
