And we'll bloody well lose this too whilst United fluke a win against Villa.

I hope Grealish wants to impress his new employers. Or pause the league till Jota is fit.

Cavani is suspended for 3 games. Misses villa, rumbelows cup against city (if it goes ahead) and Watford.

Live score has it West Ham one nil. Please tell
Me it’s true and it was Pickford’s fault.

From the Beeb.

GOAL - Everton 0-1 West Ham
Tomas Soucek

Tomas Soucek does well initially to control the ball in the box and get a snap shot away.

It's a tight angle but he hits it with pace and Jordan Pickford can only parry it at the front post.

It's half-cleared to Aaron Cresswell. His shot takes a big deflection off Yerry Mina but Soucek chases it up and picks up the rebound to poke it in at the back post.

Well done Villa you gang of shitbags. That all started with Traore trying the most stupid of free kicks.

I wonder if manc fans sat there with their knees knocking when we used to go up the table for a bit in Rafa's era and before. I suspect not. But they really seem to scare some of our lot. We're the champions, for gawd's sake.

I don't know about being scared of Utd specifically but generally one amazing year doesn't wipe away years of frustration.

As for Utd fans at the time, I'd be pretty cool too if we were winning the ttile year in, year out and had the resources to outspend everyone in teh division.

Things always seem precariously balanced for us.

I've noticed on commentary recently that Neville doesn't call out these obvious soft calls any more when it comes to penalties United are getting.

I think he knows or fear that the referees are listening to his feed somehow and if he mentions it, they'll (rightly) overturn some of these very soft calls.

Contrast that to every marginal offside call he's calling ahead of time, when a shot goes in on DDG's goal. Hoping everything is reviewed and checked.

Pogba trips himself and gets a penalty, but the keeper pulling back Mane with two hands doesnt even get VAR looking at it. Christ.
