Liverpool ‘most serious’ candidate in race to sign Wolves star – Reds ‘most determined’ to get deal done

Liverpool lead the race for the signing of Wolverhampton Wanderers star Rayan Aït-Nouri, according to reports today.

The claims come from Algeria, where La Gazette Du Fennec features a piece highlighting the big race there is for the 22-year-old.

It’s said that several Premier League clubs have been interested in Aït-Nouri, and Liverpool are actually the ‘most serious’ candidate to get him from Wolves.

The report claims they want a ‘real left-back’ to support Virgil van Dijk, and even though Jürgen Klopp is set to leave the club at the end of the season, he ‘validated his profile’ with the Reds’ management.

Liverpool should just be aware of the big competition there will be to sign Aït-Nouri, because other clubs such as Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea are all said to be watching him as well.

Still, the Reds are labelled as the ‘most determined’ to get a deal over the line.

It remains to be seen how much Wolves would demand for the player to leave in the summer.

He’s now valued by Transfermarkt at €32m, but an auction could certainly give them the chance to make more money, especially if that many big Premier League clubs are interested.

I saw a news article saying Klopp recommending him before his departure... But who is he recommending to? I don't believe we are after anybody until the summer at the earliest.

I think Ait Nouri always looks super good against us, but he's crap when I watch him against anyone else.

Liverpool and Arsenal have set their sights on Eintracht Frankfurt’s Omar Marmoush for the summer window.

That’s according to Bild, who state the Reds are ‘hot’ for the Egypt international.

As well as Liverpool, Arsenal are also interested in signing the striker, and the German club are demanding at least €50m to sanction his sale.

The newspaper questions whether the 25-year-old’s compatriot, Mohamed Salah, can lure him to Anfield.

Online, Bild claim both Liverpool and Arsenal have now included Marmoush in their target list.

The player has managed 15 goals and six assists from 32 games this season, and the Premier League duo are watching him closely. It’s claimed both the Merseyside club and Mikel Arteta’s side are ‘thinking about signing’ him in the summer.

Luckily, for the two English clubs, the frontman ‘dreams of England’, which is also known to Eintracht Frankfurt sporting director Markus Krösche.

The Bundesliga side took the Egyptian on a free transfer last summer and their idea is to have him for next season.

Marmoush’s deal lasts until 2027
and should he continue his rapid rise, Bild state Eintracht Frankfurt will have to consider selling him in the summer.

They add Marmoush’s asking price is set at €50m, and it’s not mentioned if Liverpool or Arsenal are ready to meet the German club’s demand.

Omar Marmoush’s agent Michael Reschke has provided an update on the player’s future amid the Liverpool links.

According to BILD, Liverpool have now emerged as interested suitors and could line up a fee in the region of €50 million for Marmoush.

Liverpool became the latest Premier League side to be linked with a move for the Egyptian after Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal, and Newcastle United.

The 25-year-old’s current deal runs until 2027 and with three years remaining, clubs will have to spend big to acquire his services.

Regarding Marmoush’s future, CAA Stellar director Michael Reschke said via Egyptian local TV: “We have good plans for Marmoush.

“Marmoush has been delivering outstanding performances recently and a bright future awaits him.

“He currently has a global market, so we do not rule out receiving offers from all over the world.

“This is not a strange matter, and we should all expect it because his performance, level, and name have become like gold currency and the energy he possesses on the pitch promotes him.

“Marmoush is greatly loved within Eintracht Frankfurt, so offers are not only expected from within Germany but from all over Europe.

“He has a completely distinctive style, his eyes are sharp, and I cannot compare him to anyone else. He is a wonderful and special player.”

I wish I could give you a thousand likes.

Liverpool are keen to make a deal for Germany midfielder Jamal Musiala, with Bayern Munich setting an asking price of £100m for the 21-year-old.
I don't believe there's any list of targets unless Edwards has been window shopping before taking up his new role.

Riiiiight... as if Bayern are just gonna let arguably their best player and future leave.

Kate Bush chant lined up and ready to go!

He has reportedly rejected Bayern contract renewal offer and wants to move to the Premier League. I could see why we’re interested…

Perfect player for Alonso’s system too.
Except that his contract expires in two years, why stress?

Jamal Musiala is contracted until Jun 30, 2026, Alphonso Davies contract runs until Jun 30, 2025... Both are equally important to the club. Why let one go and not the other>.. ? why not try to hand on to the both for them..?

Think taht it would be the perfect time to Land him... Real looking to splash out on M'bappe and Davis, City and Chelsea being looked into (FFP) Utd in Shit creek, Our need to replace Mo
We should go for it

Also Vinicus Jnr is not too happy with the racism in Spain.

With Mbappe coming in, we should go for it. As for Musiala, why wouldn't he want to come play for the manager that just swept the bundesliga?

The thing with Musiala, he is such a unique profile - a generational dribbler with huge variation and unpredictability in his play and also already a decent goal-scorer (and sure to get better). You feel someone like him would be wasted on the wing in a traditional 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3 set-ups; he is a rare type who can consistently get through the crowded areas in the middle to threaten the goal directly. So all this is to say, he needs a manager who plays with a true #10 (rare) or with inside forwards, like Alonso.

If Edwards can make this happen, to bring in both Alonso and Musiala as the key attacking signing for Alonso’s system, this could be a Van Dijk type transfer that would set us up for years.

The question is, why would Bayern sell him when he's got 2 years left?
In today's market, players value doesn't drop as much as it used to even if they keep him for another year.

Maybe Agent Alonso is going to Bayern to sell us Musiala on the cheap for when joins as as manager in 2027.

They are selling Davis who's contract ends the same day as Musiala
