Just heard Babbel plus £5m for Roman Pavylichenko has been put on the table, only from a tottenham supporter who heard from another and so on.......

Yeah Redknapp really seems to hate Keane. Is it a personality clash or is it that he just doesn't rate him? Maybe Harry hates Irish people. Actually that's probably it.

Reports emanating from Greece suggest Liverpool midfielder Damien Plessis could be set for a move to Panathinaikos after a move to Olympiakos stalled.

We need a player who can lead the line and play at the level we need to get back into the top four. I don't think Gyan is that player. Sunderland's about right for him.
 
Wolfsburg midfielder Zvjezdan Misimovic is on the brink of a reported £6.5million switch to Turkish club Galatasaray. Different type of player to Turan, but who knows? Could be the latter's replacement. (Ok, I'm dreaming a little here)
 
Damien Plessis and Nabil El Zhar have touched down in Greece as they prepare to finalise moves to Panathinaikos. ;D

And the money for Benyaoun was used to pay rafa off.
 
Before today this had the look of quite a good and positive window for us. Missing out on brining in a striker again is another nail in our coffin.
So when Nando is missing we have two from Babel , Dirk and N'gog.......great

It could be. While I'm gutted at not getting a striker again, at least Roy might be more flexible over his approach, so that when Torres is out he'll push two up there to compensate. Under Rafa it was a given we'd play with one upfront no matter what.

i'm relieved we didn't buy cole.

shame we didn't get rid of lucas nor manage to get any money for insua, especially as we seemed to have agreed c4 million for him twice!
