And note how often you (among others) have been made to look incredibly stupid in many of these bumped threads, and I....haven't
How about you bump the_Khl's thread where he told the board about Agger months before we were even rumored to be in for him? How about the post where he said Kjaer was the hottest Danish talent since Agger, and woah - he's now wanted by everyone from the Mancs to Spurs to ... Liverpool. How about the_khl raving about Nikola Saric who wait for it ... signed for us too.

Why not bump those threads? Think of any other posters who've given us such a nice introduction to talent long before they were known to us?
Cheers mate. Much appreciated I must say.

*gigantic man-hugs LTW*

Can we add Hangeland to the list?
In Fairness, you did highlight Hangeland as a replacement for Sami well before he went to Fulham.
It was a risky shout. Just as my bold-ish 'Re-inventing football' post were. You win some you lose some I reckon and to be honest I'm not keeping score, although it's obviously nicer to be proven right than wrong.

As said elsewhere I'm just glad someone's appreciating some of it just as I am whenever a poster gives a indication of player X or Y that I haven't heard off or know that well. For me that's all part of the fun at 6CM.

Possibly some attempt to make others look foolish for wanting to get rid of Alonso in 2008? Don't see the point really.

I remember spending about three days in a thread (can't think of which one) defending Alonso and his role for us. I/We miss him in the midfield terribly but no point going back to olad threads to remind us of what we miss.

*pops in*

I fucking told you lot Alonso was great and we should never have sold him, see I know lots about football also.

*walks off*

I admire when posters are standing up for the players they love. In that area your backing up for Alonso has been remarkable.

What's the point of this?
As far as I can see, Brendan has been made look a little inadequate by Ryan and he felt the need to drag up a two year old thread to show that he isn't.....or something like that.

Umm, not really. Ryan talks more shit than anyone, but just for longer, so that most people have lost interest half-way down the thread.

The last time I took any interest in what he last posted was when he got well and truly arse-fucked by someone who posted up frames from the actual game they were discussing to smash his specious argument to pieces.

At least that was funny.

I usually reply here and there or forget to go back to a thread to check did anyone reply to a post I made. However, I remember spending ages in one Alonso thread. I called him our metronome, tried to highlight how he orchestrates our play and controls the tempo of our midfield, we will miss him when he is gone etc. I remember quite a few told me I was being over dramatic and highly exaggerating his role for us.

Too lazy nor do I care to find the thread. What's done is done, Xabi isn't here so lets all move on.

pot calling the kettle black i would suggest

everyone talks a degree of shit, its just you think your above it brendan, sadly your believing your own hype!

Why do you follow Brendan around cochyn?

The only time I ever notice you post is when you're trying to have a go at him. Bit weird.

Please find that thread for me then cos I'm keen to find out what the fuck you're talking about.

Pffft, it goes like this from time to time, mostly when one (or both as is the case right now) of us is bored.
"Both Lucas and Mascher are infront of him in the que"

"He was utter shite. Needs to move on, quickly."

"Hes a fucking passenger and can fuck off"

"He's not good enough for the system, the league or whatever. Once Masher comes back, he's on the bench and he'll be a good option off the bench until someone pays 15 mill."

"Fuck off with that shit, hes fucking bilge."

"I'll be happy never to see him lumbering round our midfield again."

"Rangers wasn't Arteta's environment, just like Liverppol's isn't Alonso's. "

"Just like Veron, world class player, "king' of Serie A, but just cant adapt to Premier League, so? SELL...."

If anyone wants to know why I can't be arsed putting any effort into the Football Forum, here it is.

Nobody on here seems to have a fucking CLUE.

Would you like someone to dig up your Aurelio is fantastic and our answer to our LB problem thread after 2 good games before he got crocked again for 2 months?

If anyone is really bored, try to dig up Brendan's glowing words about Dirk Kuyt ... Those were great too.

We should probably sell Gerrard to based on this season too, huh?

How many average seasons did Xabi have in before his phenomenal season last year Anita? Making that comparison is poor on so many levels.
Don't go there, LeTall. It will be painful for you. As this thread has shown.

I'd love you to dig out threads were I make wild, shouty proclamations about shit players that have turned out to be great. Or vice versa.

You'll struggle, though, because we both know I'm right far, FAR more often than I'm wrong. And far, far more often than you.
Kuyt Keane and Aurelio to name 3 in the last year.

Schucks Ness, that's sweet. Right back at you.

Speaking of which, I thought sure I saw Bren's name last night on the credits for a BBC program. Bren - Do you work for the Beeb?

Dreamy - I can't see Bren having much trouble picking holes in your contributions to this forum, so you should probably stop right now.

Ha I never said I don't get things wrong, everybody does and anyone who thinks they don't is deluded.

I was merely pointing out that Brendan has made some mistakes too.

And My forecasts in big one's have been spot on of late.

AURELIO???

I thought I spent about 2 years calling him Slowrelio. Then gave him some credit for a few good displays. Then left it alone because he was injured.

Keane I'll give you, although not in the way you think. And Kuyt was one of our best players last season. so what are you on about?
