Yes, but if we make him the promises he's looking for then he may be OK with that (assuming he plays well enough). With PL, FAC, CL and LC there's plenty of scope for more than enough game time whilst staying relatively fresh for the WC.

i think he’s the replacement for gomez and quansah even if the former doesn’t actually leave, so that’s 2000 minutes. imo we actually rest virgil and ibou more if we have a capable backup so there’s also that. and… ‘touches wood’ that was kind of a really good season for ibou in terms of availability, hopefully it continues.
