I think he's probably thinking holy Christ that looks hard, this team is so open, all the defenders are just left stranded, I'm used to playing a low block with a back three, now I'm going to be picking up red cards because it's a 4v2 and if I don't pick one up or do something genius, people will criticize me!

He will get the chance. You don't buy an 18 yr old for 30m to not use him. He'll probably start the carabao games and maybe relief for ibou at the end of games

I reckon he’d hit the ground running and be hard to shift. Remember, Virg makes everyone look good / improves every CB. Give Leoni 5 games to make his mark and he’ll potentially prove another Huijsen plus muscle.

So he can be written of by the start of October? Yeah, no thanks. Every young player needs to be eased in and properly managed.
