Fuck sake Modo, stop digging.
digging what I counted his premier league goals and collymore is in on most. I didn't know that he meant in all competitions.
Okay, so Collymore was on the field for about 10 of Fowler's 18 league goals, and of them he might possibly of assisted in as many as 6.

If that stat represents some kind of victory for you in this debate then that is fine.

Listen Im not trying to win the debate. Im just trying to get a message across without someone calling bullshit. Just look how this whole mess started. Im not totally oblivious to how annoying I might seem ,but posters trying to humiliate me and degrade whatever I say just doesnt sit welk with me. Its not gonna shut me up. You wanna ban me for sticking up my beliefs and pushing on than be my guest.

You clearly stated that part of Collymore leaving was because Owen threatened to leave if he wasnt played more. Then you reiterated it. It is bullshit.

You then kept up the theme, dont cry about it now.
I don't know if you interpreted it the wrong way, but I clearly remember reading an article about Owen threatening to leave if he didn't get any opportunities at Liverpool. I'm still sticking to it.
It's not a vague memory either, I remember my brother calling and asking me about it and I barely knew who Owen was.
I'm not changing my stance, maybe it was rumour but I did read it in an article.

MENTION the name Fabrizio Ravanelli to Michael Owen and his face drops.

Owen accepts Liverpool need a new striker after the sale of Stan Collymore to Aston Villa but he knows a high-profile signing such as Ravanelli would put on hold his own ambitions of breaking into the big time next season.

Although Owen admits at 17 he is too young to sustain a full season, he believes he is ready to play Premiership football and, even at his tender age, fears he will become frustrated if denied an opportunity to fulfil his immense potential.

Owen, recalling Collymore's departure, said: `In some respects it's nice to see a player …

would have to be collymore for me. started brilliantly and formed a fucking lethal partnership with fowler (blackburn had SAS, we had CAF); that is until that total pillock evans shipped him out to accomodate sean dundee. epic fail.

Firstly, this is utter, utter bollocks.

Secondly, aren't you the one who perpetually badgers people for their "source" when posting information you are piqued by?! In this case you clearly remembering should be good enough for everyone else? Give me a fucking break.

"Owen says he's good enough for first team" (The Press) = "Owen threatens to leave if Collymore isnt shipped out" (Modo).

Wank.

Give me a break I tried to remember the contents of an article that is 14 years old.
Doesn't it say in that article that Stan had already left?

Like I said, 14 years old, and in retrospect considering how Owen did us and Newcastle, isn't it plausible that he demanded to play?

It does, yes, Richey.

But dont think that this will get in the way of Modo simultaneously weaving an impenetrable web of bollocks, whilst bitching about being mistreated, because it wont.

Low point.

You win. I'm out.

I'd hope that if some 17 year old started demanding to play ahead of their record signing, Roy Evans and Ronnie Moran would have taken it in turns to slap him with their dicks.

I'd be surprised if a youth team player demanded to play frankly. But even if he did its rather irrelevant as regards Collymore since he'd already been sold. If anything it would have possibly resulted in us not buying another striker.

Maybe quiffing but:

A) the folly ore leaving saga went on for MONTHS. It was no surprise.
B) there is no way Owen demanded to play. None.
