Psychologically, it was good that he managed to score in the first match. Helps to dispel all that BS about being a one-man team and the players themselves will be able to say that too with some degree of conviction.

We do need someone to have a go at the defence and create space for him though. I'm not sure if Sterling is good enough for that role and it didn't seem that he was deployed specifically for that purpose in the game.
