I didnt want to lose Meireles and teams that want to win things dont sell their best players. Raul was one of our best players and we shouldnt have let him go. Certainly not without a replacement.
Our midfield basically will now be Adam and Lucas (with Spearing and Shelvey as support) and i think thats pretty fucking shite in the creativity and dynamism stakes. We have really dropped the ball here. Im pyar gutted.
I like all these 'Ahhh he was shit' posts, but he wasnt, he was fucking awesome and now hes at Chelsea, who just signed Mata and Lakuka too. Weve fucked it imho.

Perhaps Kenny didn't want him after his gesture. Stirling, Suso and Jonjo can make strides into the 1st team and it'll all turn out for the best, like with the emergence of Kelly, Robinson and Flannigan last season.

I will be happier to see one of those kids scoring and playing well than that Portugeser, who never came across like he would be a true red...he was just doing his job with little affinity to the club and lots of tattoos that made him look like a vain twat rather than a hard man. The stylish cunt.

If this gives Suso (or any Academy player in a similar position) the chance to step it up as Robinson, Kelly & Flannagan have done then aces. I don't think it will hurt the squad as much you think it will.

Yep - I agree with this. Not forgetting Gerrard is coming back as well. Adam, Lucas, Gerrard, Henderson can also play in the middle as well. And then when you factor in the the kids.... Got no probs with Ming going. I also like the fact he was the last of Roy's signings to leave. Something symbolic and cleansing about that.
