Div is done, isn't he?

What a slow and unexciting fall from grace for Divvy. He had good supersub potential in 18/19 - scored some goals that we will remember for our lifetimes. However the past 18 months he's just not been arsed. He rarely uses his pace, he doesn't make intelligent runs, he always seems to react to passes into space rather than anticipate them. He doesn't get in good positions in the box. He doesn't even press with intensity (it seems).

On current form he offers nothing at all to the team, what is the solution? Do we need to just bin him to the U23s in case of emergency and promote someone who might actually contribute?

I'd much rather see us play Taki in the false nine than Div, but i'd also love to see us take a risk on youth given we aren't seeing anything to support continuing to give Origi time on the pitch.

Spot on and i just don't understand why he's lost so much enthusiasm. Last night was a disgrace it was as if he couldn't be arsed. Think we messed up by not selling him after the champions league final. There just doesn't seem to be any motivation from him

Has probably lost all faith that he''ll break into the 1st team. The club couldn't sell him in the summer because there was no decent bids. I' d expect him to be off this summer.

I said when we signed Jota, it was the end for one of him or Shaqiri.

Both Jota and Shaqiri play better across our front 3 than Big Div.

Div ALWAYS plays shite when starting, and when Salah or Firmino are on the pitch. Which makes it difficult to play the lad much.

I think to some of his best performances, and they're usually when both Bobby/Mo are not playing.

That would show great awareness - and the reason he won't is because he plays like that when we start him in the Champions League.

He is just nowhere near the level this team is at. Even the likes of Minamino can come in, and fit the system, despite not looking that great.

Reckon he will be gone in Jan.

Whilst some hate the traditionalist approach of it - I still want players to remember the shirt they are wearing and do it justice. We shouldn't accept this shit - and this isn't a kneejerk after last night, it is about every performance we've seen lately. Even when you lack chances you should be working hard, eager to challenge, take the fight to the opponent. He's doing one of that.

Given the threadbare nature of the squad and the fact we have got rid of back up strikers in consecutive summers (Ings, Sturridge, Brewster) hes really the only option we have in that role so I really cant see him being sold. But its clearly gone stale and hes just going through the motions. He should be one of the first names out the door next summer.

Then Bobby/Mo will have to go.

Origi hasn't declined. He was just as bad in previous seasons, then he suddenly clicks and wins a game for us. I doubt even he knows why it's as it is. For me, he's much more likely to be dangerous out on the left, where he cuts inside and shoots. But he's exasperating - you simply never really know what kind of performance he'll give.

When he starts on the left and is ineffective, everyone says Klopp should play him through the middle. When he’s in the middle and equally ineffective, people suggest he should be on the left. Sometimes it’s really not about the position...

Yeah, I used to hold out some hope for him but that went a long time ago. I think he's just decided that it's better to stick around here, play the odd game and win a couple trophies rather than drop down a level or two.

We need to bite the bullet and get rid, if only so that we can replace him with someone who can contribute. The problem we have in certain positions is that the squad player is so unreliable that they may well not exist - we can't afford to rest the first teamer. It defeats the point of having a squad.

Apparently he’s super chilled out and has loads of other interests away from football. He’s on massive money long-term, and is very comfortable. It seems to come across in his performances.

I think that's a factor. He's got TOO MUCH of a hinterland! I don't think he doesn't care, I just think he's wired wrong.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. He should have been sold after the CL win. We would have got around £40 mill for him.

I don't want to see him again. He was abysmal and just doesn't look interested or motivated.

Needs selling.

He's a big game player, as his usual calm head is sometimes exactly whats needed

Problem is, the other 95% of games he's fucking shite and easy to mark out the game

And I said he should have just been put on a contract for life working in the canteen

But then you'd have to wait ages for your lunch, you'd have to go up and ask where it is, find out he's forgotten about it, sit down again, wait ages again, only for him to finally send over the wrong bloody thing! (And then on your way out, someone comes over to apologise and say, 'He's really at his best when the canteen's busy!')

You can see why we kept him to be fair. The Jota deal might not have happened or might not have been so successful so quickly. Origi would probably have got more games in those cases.

I daresay he is done now as it looks unlikely he'll ever break through to the starting line up and he's even fallen down the pecking order for back up. He may well have one or two more good moments for us but I imagine he'll be moving on at the end of the season.

He won’t even get on the pitch. And deservingly so.

I feel he’s just way too relaxed to be a top player. You need that edge, fear and drive to succeed. He just doesn’t seem arsed.

He's just got that horror trifecta that no one can ever redeem themselves from.

Black. Droopy eyelids. Massive cock.

You can have a pretty great life with those qualities, so long as you don't value affirmation or acceptance.
