You want that title?
Yeah and now they've possibly got a problem behind the scenes between manager, chairman and playerThe Palace fans aren’t happy either it seems. Guehi deserved his move, the money could have been invested and Glasner is a cunt that will most likely leave anyway.
I reckon Glasner would still have played hard ball with Parish even if they'd signed Julio.Isnt it simply that Igor Julio decided on West Ham at the last minute? I don't buy him failing a medical.
Brighton rivalry?Glasner probably told him he couldn’t guarantee him minutes in the side. Why on earth would any chose West Ham instead if that wasn’t the case.
Didn't something come up in his medical? Sure I read that somewhere.Brighton rivalry?
Aye right, I'm sure they're devastated that their captain, best player and one of the premier CBs in the country has stayed put.The Palace fans aren’t happy either it seems. Guehi deserved his move, the money could have been invested and Glasner is a cunt that will most likely leave anyway.
Surely it’s Hitler.I'm missing the joke here, who are we talking about? Arnold?
Why are you yelling into the abyss..? He knows that. The fee had been agreed for a few weeks appaz. Glasner threatened to leave if they sold him
I don't see how you can honestly feel this is on us... They were never selling him until they'd secured European football, but they knew we wanted him and that he wants us. They had months to locate his replacement, knowing that they needed one before the window shut.I think it's mainly our fault. I suspect we just didn't take seriously enough the possibility that Palace would fail to get in a replacement and by the time that became an issue it was too late to do much about it. I think we thought that they clearly want to sell and we don't need him urgently for the start of the season, so let's just let them stew as long as possible and drive the price down. 90% of the time that works and you save £5-10m, but we came unstuck on this occasion.
Hopefully we get it done in January and VVD and Konate stay fit.

We waited for them to secure European football, went back to them, a deal was done, and everybody was preparing videos and statements, etc... Then, out of absolutely nowhere, a deal that had nothing to do with us fell through on the last day, so CP fucked us (as is their right), and that's OUR fault? How?
Guehi isn't a dickhead. If we bid again, he'll join.I can see why we wanted the deal done yesterday. Alot could change in 3-4 months. Someone like Real Barca City might be sniffing around for a top CB and he does not exclusively need to be signing for us.
There is a risk.
It’s not about their skills. Fit and healthy, VVD, Ibou and Joe are superb. But two of those are injury prone to say the least and we’ve been lucky perhaps that Virg has barely picked up a knock.I don't get this, when did Konate become shit?
Not many teams in the Prem can boast a trio like Van Dijk, Konate and Gomez.
It's not about skill for me, it's about availability.
OK, we're on the same page. I'd like to see the young bambino get a chance. The cup game will be interesting. It’s not about their skills. Fit and healthy, VVD, Ibou and Joe are superb. If they all stay fit, no problem.
The problem is it could easily become a disaster if one of them gets a long-term injury, because all three should have their minutes managed. If one is out, the other two are playing most games in the league and CL.
Exactly and I don't understand why everyone in the media has written off Konate. You could make that argument for anything though. Guehi comes in and does his ACL, then we rue getting him early. Yes, ibou and Gomez are quite injury prone, But that's why we've got Leoni. If both get injured then we'd be thin on the ground and reliant on a 5th choice cb anyway
The way yesterday panned out, I'd rather Guehi didn't get over the line than Isak.
We were being proactive, just incase Ibou does go for free, and that's a very very sensible play (as we did with mamardashvilli last year). But him not being here ideally won't impact us massively. If ibou stays, then amazing, we can have a fantastic depth at the back.Exactly and I don't understand why everyone in the media has written off Konate.
Don't get me wrong Guehi is a good defender but Konate is just as good and he proved that last Sunday. Also, he's not injured again, it was cramp. He's still in the France squad.
Yeh he’s a really interesting wild card. Not cheap for a young lad so he’s clearly got the skillset. If he hits the ground running, that would be amazing.OK, we're on the same page. I'd like to see the young bambino get a chance. The cup game will be interesting.
