Gettin’ Guehi with it

high hopes for this one then but glasner gives me some concern, he’s been giving off the i could walk if we keep selling people vibe but i think/hope that’s just a ploy to get more players.

Watching Gomez come on and deliver a brilliant performance brought us back to our senses.

Ibou's injury didn't look that bad. Also, we're off for two weeks, so he'll be fine in time for Burnley.

Latest is that its difficult to get it done after Glasners comments and getting in replacements.
But given Glasner has one year left on his deal and so does Guehi, I'm guessing Parish will make the decision.
40 mill £ is a lot for Palace rather than letting him go for free.

Glasner's own contract runs out in 2026. This sounds like:

(1) building plausible justification for when he refuses to sign a new contract

(2) forcing Palace to retain Guehi for 12 months to build up his CV then fking off with him anyway

Yeah, thought the same. Parish calls the shots anyway.

Can see us loaning him out to Palace maybe? Or if we are trying to sell him to Palace.
Selling him to Palace would be a great deal for both parties (London being his home n' all), but maybe Joe wants to play at a higher level?

Liverpool has been his home for 10 years and I don't think many people are desperate to return to South London!

Mind you, I'm sure regular football would appeal to him.

He seems like the kind of character who will essentially do as he's told though, doesn't he?
