Can't see us getting anything at Old Trafford. Really dreading that one.
Arsenal at home is a tougher one to call. Two Jekyll and hide teams to say the least but I'd just be like us to put in a big performance under the floodlights at Anfield...here's hoping.
The Arsenal game is one that is calling out for us to hit them hard in the first 15 minutes like last season. They are arguably the only team under more pressure than us, with a manager under more pressure. Concede early to a 'weak' Liverpool side and the crowd will be on their back (albeit only from the away end).
If we want to start quick, we need to start Coutinho and ensure that the attackers are dynamic and making incisive runs. I'd love one of these games to be the real return of Stevie playing further up field.
Is there even a slim chance that Studge might return for either of these?! Even as a sub?!
So we're not Newcastle of a few years ago, as we don't sack managers frequently, but we're also not the Newcastle of now, as we don't keep managers in place as long as them.
On thinking about it, you're right, we're definitely not Newcastle at all.
