His slump is not only caused by misfiring but also by sloppiness and half-arsed runs. This can't be fixed by scoring a peno.

We have not accused him of being arrogant in terms of adapting, but he needs to lessenhis attacking instincts and tell them to attack with measure and not carelessnes

Large scale changes, but I think Saturday’s game is more important. Getting to 12 points should see us through. I know the aim should be to finish higher to avoid the 2 leg qualifier, but that hardly helped us last season.

I’d try to have the defence restrict their attacking instincts and try and push as a unit to the half way line without leaving those gaps on either flank. Use either Jones’ or Slobby’s running to break through their lines, or Wirtz passing. We also have ball carrying through Frimpong and Ekitike. And Chiesa is the greatest Italian since Maldini, so he can do what he wants.
