I like the Ox, his stats are rather poor (9 EPL goals in 6 seasons with Arsenal), but I have a feeling there is more to come from him and maybe a change of scenery can benefit him. Was he an LFC fan growing up by any chance? In any case, this transfer won't happen unless the player himself pushes hard for it – if we don't sign him this January, we'll sign somebody else for this position (Promes?) and then the opportunity will be gone.

A skilful, versatile and mature footballer who in theory would be an excellent addition to the squad, but it would worry me that he's never nailed down a regular place at the Arse. I'd want us to make sure we did our due diligence about why not.
