Stoke are my 2 worst games of the season. Especially when Pulis was there.

Back on track, I don't give a toss about Chelsea in the cup. 3 points are worth more to us than a league cup win. We won that a few years back, and it was a bit shit then. I'm even less arsed about it now.

I would start Balotelli ahead of Borini. Only because he didn't look half arsed when he came on against Sunderland and ultimately has more quality than any other fit striker we have.

Yeah, I hate us playing Villa, but we've actually done better there than at home against them under Rodgers, perhaps because they have to come out and play a bit more. I really want to see us keep another clean sheet and if we do that, I fancy us to nick a goal. I might go for 1-0 to the Pool.

Well villa success against in the last few games, seems to have been to get someone tight to Gerrard and cause us to make errors, then hit us on the break.

So if he is sitting out of this, it wont be a bad think............

Villa seem to raise their game vs us, or Lambert just knows how to set up a team to beat Rodgers.
Benteke will cause us problems but Sakho and Can gives our defence more strength and the physical bit might not be that big a deal.

Villa cant score to save their lives so expect them to score against us.
Can see us winning this 3-2.

Markovic definitely seems to perform better when running from deep positions, maybe thats the thinking behind it. I do agree the lack of Manquillo is puzzling.
