I am kind of upset at Konate, I think we presented a decent enough contract based on his availability more than anything and also by now its obvious he cannot lead the defence in the way VVD does for us. So basically his head has been turned by the other teams in the bckground and I think he is being led wrongly in his decision making to not sign and leave this team.

Not sure how its stupid at all. If he waits a year hes guaranteed as starter in the world cup, gets a huge payoff as a free signing from his next club and will still have plenty of offers from top clubs. its a win win for him.
