Why has he not signed yet ? What is taking this so long ? Its July now and we have only signed 3 players.
Which to me means konate is being sold.
I am kind of upset at Konate, I think we presented a decent enough contract based on his availability more than anything and also by now its obvious he cannot lead the defence in the way VVD does for us. So basically his head has been turned by the other teams in the bckground and I think he is being led wrongly in his decision making to not sign and leave this team.

Big gamble for them too - he would have to perform like an absolute superstar for his resale value to increase.

This "guaranteed playing time" thing surely has to be something made up by journos, like what does that even mean? It's a professional sport, nothing is ever guaranteed.
I mean, Liverpool are prepared to pay a 30-40M fee when you're going into the last year of your contract - does that sound like you're going to be the heir to Thiago Ilori?
