So, Rodrygo is the Diaz replacement, Wirtz is the Elliot replacement, Guehi will be the Quansah replacement, Ekitike is the Jota replacement, Isak will be the Darwin replacement and Cheesie can be replaced by Doak or fresh air, given the amount of games he played - or since we’re spending like me during a Lego sale… we should just sign Malick “Mabaws” Fofana for shits n’ giggles.

I don't think we need Rodrygo. However, I am not going to be upset if he arrives. I think we have a squad that won't need an upgrade for 2 years. If Salah leaves next year or the year after we have his replacement already.
Isak, Rodrygo, Guehi, Flo, Frim, Ekitike and Kerkez. That would take the spend to nearly £500m. We bring in about £250m in sales.

Instead of Rodrygo, perhaps Kevin Schade at Brentford is worth a closer look. Seems to have flown under the radar a bit with Mbeumo taking all the attention at Brentford last season. Schade scored 11 non-penalty goals in the league in his breakout 24/25 season as a left forward, although there's a risk it's a one-season thing. Turns 24 in November.
