Yeayy!! Well done Liverpool.
I thought Allen was very good today. Some of his turns out of trouble, quick passes and forward breaks were really good, as was his possession play. Hardly put a pass wrong today. Looks like he's sharp and back to good form again after playing in two of the last three games. Hopefully, he'll stay healthy until the end of the season.
First win at Selhurst Park since Dec 1997, I think.

I agree. That's the best game he's had in ages. Hendo was super boss in terms of the more creative stuff, but Allen looked the part. Good to see.

Ming - 8 - well played Sir !
Can - 6 - why oh why doesn't he run with his head up. Plenty of misplaced passes and poor headers.
Skrtel - 5 - back to his old ways, hopefully it's just a blemish.
Sakho - 7 - one misplaced pass into our MF aside he was very solid and totally nullified the dangerous Bolasie.
Allen - 7.5 - in control and classy all match. Excellent control and forward passing, a big step up for him.
Hendo - 6.5 - a bit quiet and didn't really do as much as he should. Some silly fouls and misplaced passes.
Markovic - 6.5 - I thought he had done pretty well in the first half.
Moreno - 6.5 - stayed solid and didn't gift possession away but didn't see as much of the ball as maybe he might have.
Lallana - 7 - excellent poacher's goal. As I've said, we need this guy playing because he is one of the few goal scorers we've got. Otherwise didn't see as much of the ball as he might have but when he did get it his control and trickery meant he didn't give it up very easily.
Coutinho - 6.5 - thought he should have been rested from the start. Ward did a good number on him and he wasn't that influential.
Sturridge - 6.5 - the well taken goal aside he was rather disappointing but this is another game under his belt and he will be better for it.
Balotelli - 7 - very good game, held the ball up, brought other players into play, good - very powerful - FK to help set up Lallana.
Lovren - 6 - solid, nothing spectacular but didn't need to be. Lovely pass near the end to send Balo away.
Lambert - N/A
BR - 8 - Good team, good subs, onwards we march.

A quick word about the ref who was a fucking disgrace I thought. Anything 50/50 he gave to them and denied us a clear pen as well.
