More or less what I expect to see, the right mix of getting a strong team out, resting the players that need to be rested and playing those that need some game time.

Is Toure back in time, maybe Lovren should play?

And I'm not sure he'll move Can to midfield yet, it's a great opportunity to do it, but he may leave what's working as it is, which would mean that Henderson will have to play.

Manquillo is the only other option I think should play, and Balotelli at a push if there's any doubts around Sturridge.

I can't see deputy captain Hendo being dropped. Lovren did well when he came on. I would perserve with him and put Can in the middle with Hendo.

Saw there were some rumours Balotelli is starting.

Hope he does as he deserves it after the goal and performance against Spurs.
He'll probably leave after the season but if we can get him to contribute with about 5-6 goals it could make a difference, either in the league or a cup.

Credit where it's due, he *did* do well against Spurs, but that was coming on as a sub. How will he fare as a starter in (a) what's going to be a gritty battle and (b) a formation which hasn't suited him before now?

True, but his work rate seems better and I'd rather start him than Borini or Lambert.
Sturridge played 73 mins on Wednesday so I'd keep him on the bench for this one.

Or he might start with two strikers with Lallana just behind. That would suit Balotelli.
Either with Borini or Sturridge if Rodgers starts him again.

3-4-1-2.

I'd like to rest Sakho's back while re-integrating Lovren to the fold, and even without Sakho a Scud Missile won't get through that back five. Marko, Moreno & Stugs will run a plenty for Coutinho and I'd like to see Stugs & Balotelli together for an hour or so to see if they can recreate that form they showed against Spurs in the Autumn. Plus I want Balotelli to get motoring and make up for the pain he has put me through since September, before he leaves in May. Time is running out Mario. Finally, Stugs to score and do the awesomest ever 'Wave Ride' with the unco-ordinated Moreno, then glide off @ 70 mins to give Borini a run out.

Balotelli and Sturridge didn't have a great game against spurs. Everyone says it but it's bullshit. Sturridge had a great game against Spurs, Mario wasted a fuckload of chances and leathered the ball into row Z like Peter fucking Kaye. Then Sturridge got injured and Mario continued being shite. He can fuck right off.

But he gets in the right positions. Fuck off. That's below a minimum requirement. That's like me saying well at least I was sat at my desk, when I was calling in drone strikes instead of writing the report I was meant to.
