Darwin - the evolution of a transfer

Makes me think back to Spitting Image and the errant president’s brain

Watching Nunez try to conquer Serie A will be like one of those Japanese game shows where you have to deliver a tray of food across a floor tilted at 40 degrees while being kicked in the balls and attacked by scorpions. You couldn’t invent a league less suited to his game.

Keep that between us though eh.

Straight swap Osimhen…

He's demanding £355k a week sadly, hence nobody is biting for him, especially after a year in Turkey. He's going to need to radically rethink his demands if he wants to pay at the very top, otherwise Saudi beckons.

He's probably at least as suited as Lukaku. And then to have De Bruyne putting him in on goal? He'll do alright.

Don't know who / how reliable Foot Mercato are but saw something online where they're claiming that he's now lowering his demand to secure a move to the Premier League.
Apparently now looking at €12M Euros per year, so £200k per week.

If true, and with what Nunez is currently on (£140k per week??) there's definitely a deal to be made somehow.

They seem to think that Darwin will fit Conte's tactical approach, so let them continue to believe that and get this done.

I think because Spanish and Italian are mutually intelligible he will find it easier to communicate, which will make it easier to adjust. I am going to miss the guy when he does go, I really wanted him to work out, sad it didn't
