Really really want him replaced. Hoping his contract extension was so we can get a fee for him.he's the cul de sac king. The Milan Baros of our times
Nah. Maybe the first seven or eight games. He’s been class for agesHe wouldn’t have been wrong for the first half of the season.
This is also true.Macateer is not exactly bright
This is not.Nah. Maybe the first seven or eight games. He’s been class for ages
He’s been poor the last three games after a good spell.
Aye, but Dreamy has very strict rules. No he hasn’t. He was one of our best players at Sunderland.

Salah can do no wrong.
Wirtz is an expensive luxury that isn't worth it.
But they are pretty, pretty, pretty, prettyyyyyyy close.Neither of those statement reflect my views.

Haha, he was one of our best players against Sunderland. Even the Sunderland fans were saying he’s one of the best players they’ve seen play at the Stadium of Light.
He’s been excellent for some time now.
Worked his bollocks off in that draining game on Wednesday and looked tired yesterday.
Should have started on the bench yesterday imho, but still worked hard.

Just a magnificent player. Quality all around and just 22 years old. Love him.
Salah and Wirtz has the same amount of goals in the league btw. Salah with 1 pen as well, so 3 from open play.
More to do with being under immense pressure and needing to stay in the FA Cup.I would have rested wirtz like you, but with jones in at right back it becomes obvious that wirtz would always start.
Ramsay at right back would have given him that chance, or even Nyoni in midfield. Slot hates the kids though
If we don't qualify for the CL and only win the FA cup, i don't think thats enough to keep himMore to do with being under immense pressure and needing to stay in the FA Cup.
If we don’t go deep in the CL he’s going to need this comp you’d imagine.
At this rate I think he stays as long as he gets CL even without a trophy. If we don't qualify for the CL and only win the FA cup, i don't think thats enough to keep him
The pressure is to get top 5 and/or to win the CL. Of everything left, this is the least important (for me)
Probably, and i don't like that. transition year or not we're spent an ungodly amount and made the squad weaker after winning the league. Hes refusing to use the whole squad and then bemoans injuries. At this rate I think he stays as long as he gets CL even without a trophy.
We played well again yesterday. Perhaps there’s an overfocus on Slot right now and not enough emphasis on other factors…like our new players finding their feet and the group collectively getting through the worst of an underlying squad grief reaction.
With the champions league / FA Cup more in mind, regardless of Slot’s difficulties this season we have genuine match winners in the squad who, with some momentum and returning cohesive spirit, are well capable of pulling out big performances in big cup ties…and enjoying a run of form that gradually dissolves their identity away from the clusterfuck slump of this winter.
The relief of a return to form, the click of a new understanding amongst high potential new players and the distancing of a profound grief might just offer some late season momentum to make something of our season.
