I think my view of Gravy NOT being a DM was based on not knowing he'd played that role at Ajax, then seeing him deployed otherwise for us and him not being the physically dominant type of DM (I'd kind of ruled out the chance that any other type of player could make it work).
Obviously Slot knew better than me, and always will.
If Gravy develops his defensive side of the game even further he will no doubt be one of the top DMs in the world.
He's got so many other qualities with the ball that he's already unique. Still need to be even better defensively imho, but that will come.
