Isakly what we need

I wonder if Newcastle want to get as close to our game against them as possible to sell, ensuring he doesn't / can't feature... Imagine the carnage if we brought him on as a sub and he grabbed a winner

RIP Bay Shire. He survived the carnage of 2013 and lived for a good 7 years more.

In October 2019, he entered retirement at The Horse Trust in Buckinghamshire where staff made sure he "never saw another football scarf".

I think it's just Newcastle trying to pressure us to up the bid.
It's all mind games and posturing.

I'm confident it'll get done, either now or in Jan, as too many bridges have been burned (between fans, club, player and owners).

Ideally I would have liked in the summer.

We should be using this time to get Leoni or guehi and maybe a winger

I don't think that will come.

Howes interview pretty much invited bid 2, as soon as they sign any player.

But it's mad to me that it wouldn't. He's frozen himself out, refusing to train with the players, and is completely out for himself. Forgoing the loyalty bonus seems like the barest of minimum he could do to force the move

If a transfer request is all it's going to take to expedite things, why doesn't he just do so? I am sure we will be happy to part with a few million £ his way if we can get him sooner or even at all.

He forfeits severance if he does that doesn't he? Maybe we don't want to pick up that bill.

Are we ignoring our no dickheads policy? Isak is coming across as a bit a dickhead in all of this to say the very least?
This had been starting to concern me a bit, something about this whole saga feels off, but in his defence, he's not come out and said anything, and it seems like Newcastle are the ones freezing him out, not the other way around, it's more likely he's told Newcastle he wants to leave, and honestly they're dealing with it really quite badly.

If you'd been promised a move to a different department, on maybe double money if you kept your head down for a year for the team.

Then at the end of the year, you delivered record breaking results.

You approached your boss and asked for the move, only to be told. 'You can't move now', however here's a new contract for us at less wages than the promised move to the new department.

But you may get that move next year, if a department wants to pay over what they are offering this year.

How would you react?

Nah. It's just a Newcastle fan masquerading as a journo and living in denial/ who didn't get the script

The rest of them have moved on to the chapter on "accepting reality" and "we don't need bad eggs like this stinking up the dressing room"
