Isakly what we need

Go on Newcastle… yon can have £50m + Nunez for Isak - you know it makes sense.

Isak too would be insane.

WTAF, maybe FSG have heard City will get off and thought fuck it, unleash the hounds.

I reckon the damage has already been done - just enough pressure that they had to reign things in for a few seasons, miss out on a couple of key players and compromise on quality for just long enough for increased CL revenue to kick in so that they don’t have as much of a spend advantage as before.

That and by the time they look to buy big… there won’t be any players left to sign because Chelsea will have signed them all.

According to Transfermarkt our net spend is currently €-245.38m.

Selling Nunez, Diaz, Chiesa, Morton, Doak, Elliott and Tsimi/Robbo should probably bring it down to about 0.

But then you need to add Isak, Fofana and Guehi back on.

So back to €-245.38m we go.

Which is still less than City's January spend. Never mind Jan + Summer

Clearly FSG are taking Boehly's dick swinging personally

I think Isak would take us past their record for the biggest transfer window outlay ever made. They're on £391m.

Wirtz 116
Frimpong 30
Kerkez 40
Ekitike 78

That's £264m. If Isak is more than £127m then it's a new record. Plus we'll probably sign a CB too.

Crazy stuff.
