Isakly what we need

Do you expect him to fail? If so, I would be curious to know why?
Unless there's a dramatic change in 1)tactics, or 2) his application then I am

I thought hed take to us like a duck to water, but clearly he's struggled and I have no idea why.

The 8 players we bought over the 2 windows, I don't think any are dud, at worse the jury should be out on all of them. The buck stops with Slot, people say the team he puts out lacks width and pace, but he refuses to use Cheezy and Rio. The MF requires a #6 but Endo is left in the sideline. We get caught out on the counter, but persists to play the highline. We have a squad more than capable of winning the league, its far stronger than last season - the manager has to get things right

Can't work out how to share this as a photo but just for fun I thought i'd look up this comparison

Nunez's career at Liverpool is over. He was a resounding failure. Isak's is just starting. Maybe you should make the Judgement in a few years.

Really don't get this obsession with everyone finding a fence and nailing themselves to it. Let's just wait and see.

My strong view is you shouldn't have to wait a few years for the record signing to shows even glimmers of being a good signing. We've bought him at his peak, and current signs suggest he is on the way down from that peak already.

Context of when & how much we invest in a play is extremely relevant to expectations.

If you want to see glimpses look at his highlights. Of course it's important how much he costs but that investment is for the next 6 years not 6 months. Give him some time, support him and hopefully in a few months you will be eating humble pie.

I also enjoy watching highlights of Suarez's 13/14 season, what a beast. Doesn't mean he is replicating this now on the pitch.

What do you think is the reason for his form? His legs have gone? He was always shit? He can't be arsed anymore?

Or... maybe, he is low on confidence, not fit and still adjusting to a new team?

Its like comparing apples and oranges when using stats.

Only Liverpool fans themselves could be against the upgrade from a Donkey to one of the best strikers around.

Can’t wait for him to smash it and jizz out humble pie everywhere.

Here's the thing, Ekitike has been 4 times the player in red, so Isak should only be getting rotational minutes now when Ekitike needs a rest. He'll struggle to build up form and fitness

Isak was just awarded "Guldbollen" ( Golden ball) for the first time in his career. Best Swedish footballer.

We really need to actually play in a way that creates chances for him. Until then, unless he turns into Messi, he'll seem shit and will be labelled shit.

If we give him chances, he'll score.

If every fucker cuts in, crowds his space and shoots, then a fantastic finisher will remain wank in the eyes of a significant part of the fan base.

Get Bradley on, get Cheesy on, get Frimpong on, get Rio on and he'll score....

Wow. He's played (from your own chart) just 493 mins, in a mostly dysfunctional team, with a player on his right that has fallen off a cliff, FBs that have yet to sort themselves out and are different from game to game, and a mish-mash of a midfield that is only now just beginning to sort itself out - and that is the conclusion?

Look at his form at Newcastle for the true ability of this man. Injury, fitness and the team's inoperability are the key factors behind his failure to hit form yet.
