Quite. Weak as a kitten on the ball but tried his hardest. Not sure I saw Lallana do anything of merit.
It's ok though, he's a decent shot stopper.....simons easily the worst keeper in the league, has he got some kind of mental impairment?
Sakho was boss. We would have conceded today without him.

We were shite but I watched it in a pub in Waterloo with reds on one side and blues on the other. Got to see us win and then 5 mins of them losing. Boss.
Similarly, could you imagine if we had Sanchez?
It's frustrating watching teams like Spurs (with the recently excellent Lloris) scraping wins with the odd goal after game-changing keeper saves, whilst we stumble on with the goalkeepers from hell (or league 2).
We'd be a much better team with a decent keeper.
I hope we are keeping an eye on Davy Klaassen. He is turning into a fine player. It's also frustrating watching Christian Eriksen, who we refused to take for paltry 12M, score more league goals this season as Lallana, Coutinho and Balotelli combined in all competitions.

Rodgers said in the post-match interview that Can for Kolo was a tactical substitution. He wanted better build-up from the back and felt than Can also gave the team "real athleticism." Interesting. I wonder if Can is going to replace Toure for the next game as well.
Sakho was solid for most of the game, but he made me worry in the last half an hour. Still on the balance he was our best defender today (if you don't count Can, who only had 45 minutes, but wasn't tested as much by Burnley). On the opposite, Skrtel was poor for most of the game, but improved after the goal and made a couple of vital clearances.
I also think Rodgers got his 3rd substitution right, even though at the time it looked very strange. Coutinho was playing well, but by his nature he is an uncompromising player – he can't adjust his game based on the scoreline, so if you choose between him and Lallana when you need to hold a 1-goal lead, it should be Lallana every time. This also gave Sterling an opportunity to get on the ball more than when he was playing as the lone striker and Lambert made a couple of nice lay-offs for him as well. It was a smart substitution that worked.
Mignolet... Hope this clean sheet gives him at least some confidence, because he was painful to watch.
It's a fine line though isn't it? He used to get stick for appearing so tentative. His confidence grew as the manager stuck by him and by the end of last season, he was integral to the team (look how much we missed him during his ban). But I do know what you mean...in fact I think it's a mentality that extends to quite a few others in the squad and has done for some time. I just think it's a little unfair to single Henderson out for this.Henderson plays like he's arrived. Vice captain. England international. 'I've made it'. 'I've arrived'. 'I'm boss and I don't need to try as hard as I did before because everyone recognizes i'm good now'
