To have three players that are pretty likely to be upgrades for us, this early on, and being already champions, is nuts. Wouldn't be the end of the world if this was it, depending on who else is leaving of course.

Ok. This is a genuine Galatico signing. One of the best young players in the world. Great to see us finally act like the massive club we are worldwide.
I expect to see Szobo, Jones, Macca, Gravvy all up their levels next season as the competition for the 2 roles behind Florian will be tough.
Kerkez and Frimpong signings are perfect too. If Robbo stays, let him up his level and make it a competition. Bradley/Frimpong, the competition is fierce there. Alli has competition with Mama. Left wing is competive already. Sign Guehi and the competition at CB goes up for Ibou esp. Virg is calm and always at high level but will be pushed by Guehi too. Mo is an animal and competes with himself every season.
I said we needed to surround our legends (esp Mo and VVD) with LEGS and QUALITY.
Looks like we are doing that.
Fuck off Darwin, and bring in a good CF (Ekitike/Isak) + Konate new contract, and it's basically the perfect summer.

Swap Ekitike, who doesn't convince me (especially at the kind of fee being quoted), for Sesko and I'd agree with all of that.
I'm unconvinced by Sesko.
Him and Ekitike played in the same league last season. Ekitike made the squad of the season (and helped his team to 3rd), Sesko did not (missed out on Europe completely).
Sesko is like a Haaland-lite.
Ekitike is like an Isak-lite.
I prefer Ekitike because I feel like an Isak-lite is still a good footballer when they are not scoring. Whereas as Haaland-lite not scoring is a clunky footballer. We have ballers and primary goalscorers in our team already (Salah, Wirtz and Gakpo/Diaz). We don't need an out-and-out goalscorer (25G, 5A). We need a good all round CF, who links well with our attackers and both scores and assists (G15, A15)... plus works his ass off in the press up front.
