Its grealish or szob.

Pedro deserves a shout, so that wouldn't surprise me.

Grealish might deserve it, I don't know, I didn't watch the games. But, the big thing being routed is his assists, and having watched the highlights, two of the assists were 95% goal 5% assist.

Nobody really stands out clearly. Could be any of Grealish, Semenyo, Pedro, Szobo... I voted for Ekitike as he gets bonus for being new to the league.

Guehi - keeps producing quality performances despite the circus going on around him. The sooner we can fetch him in, the better.

BTW what the actual feck is Cauliflower doing on that list?

If the charity shield counts, Captain Guehi gets it…but should be Szobo - he’s had an incredible month

Everton have played some slop so far. Lost to Leeds, beat an awful Wolves and got lucky against Brighton. They’re shit.

False distinction. It's because those other clubs aren't on Citeh's level that he was/is being allowed to please himself there. At a big club it's not all about him and he can't handle that.
Disagree. Peps style was not suited at all to his. That was evident from day one.

Because "even" Pep makes mistakes?
Pep has made a lot of mistakes lately.

They were doing their usual combined XI on Soccer Saturday yesterday. Must say I was surprised to see so many Man U players in it, especially in attack.

These managers have a lot of confidence. They all think they can work miracles.

Even Klopp was wrong once or twice *cough donkey cough*

It obv suits him to be allowed to play his natural game, nothing to do with big fish in a small pond imo.
He just hangs on the left with little defensive responsibilities. Everton gets the ball to him 1v1 with the defender and they start to load the box waiting for a delivery. If the opponent doubles up they will go via the right. That's the entire attack in a nutshell and it has worked pretty well so far.

Everton get to keep their shape and Grealish is effective because he is actually very good with 1v1s. I think they can break into the top half of the table if Grealish stays fit and motivated.

Thankfully they don't have anyone up-front who can consistently, you know, put the ball in the back of the net.
That's been their problem for years now.
We complain about paying way over the odds for the best forwards on the market, and observing that they aren't at the level of the strikers of the past. Isak's a good player, but time was when a record fee bought you Shearer or Rooney, not any more. It's an even worse situation lower down the chain where the value proposition is the same, but you're shelling out money you can only just afford for someone who might get you 10 league goals, where the same fee would've bought you 15+ a few seasons back.

He seems to slow the ball up too which allows defence to get themselves set. Stops the ball then tries to go past the man. The thing is, like you’ve said, he’s allowed another to come across to nullify him.
