It's been a bit of a shit show, roller coaster of a day, so in case anyone has forgotten, the new season starts tonight with Burnley v Man City.
The main question is, will Guardiola continue to work miracles and defy the odds, to add another premier league title to the Man City c/v

Kane probably knows even if he stay in EPL and break Shearer's record, his record will be overtaken by Haaland sooner or later.

I didn't forget - which is why there's already a thread. !

Haaland gets his 2nd as Firmino completes his hattrick in 71 mins on his debut at home to last season's runners up.

Elsewhere, looks like Thuram is having a good game - Nice 1-0 Lille at halftime.

Looks like he is playing on the left of a midfield three?
Presumably it was either him or Mac Alister

Rodri has made a much larger impact than what I expected when they first signed him.

Almost no change Haaland either a sticks around that long or continues the numbers to break it.

Rodri is their lynchpin. He holds them together.
Would have loved him at the base of our midfield.

Kick off at the Emirates delayed until 1pm
A new ticketing system causing delays.

Well done Sky/TNT for picking the deadest most one-sided games to kickstart the season.

Bra-fucking-vo.

Arsenal trying to do an "Arsenal" again by the looks of things.

The Elanga and Awoniyi subs have really made a difference here, probably should've come on sooner.
