I love Endo, but I just don't think he's going to get more than his role of coming on late in games, so that being the case I wonder if there are still hopes for Bajcetic at the club. I was guilty of saying that David Silva would never work in the PL and was proved totally wrong, so I refrained from expressing concerns about Wirtz because if a player in that mould has that kind of genius linking play, they clearly can be extraordinary in this league. The eye test tells you he’s super technically talented, he constantly moving looking to receive the ball, can go left, right…play a pass. Is capable of beating a player and has a decent shot from either foot.

He’s yet to settle - but that’s not unusual for a 22 year old coming to a new country, new home, new team mates in a new league.

If he has resilience and we are patient, I fully expect him to come good.

Wirtz is already proving me right. I said there was a huge risk he wouldn’t adapt and even if he did it would take time which we couldn’t afford at that price.

I still think he’ll come good but it’s not as certain as it was according to many on here.

I feel for him. Tough start in terms of opponents and how they press/bully players in the middle of the park and I doubt Arsenal will be any different.
