I had a thought in my head we should sign Bellerin as back up for Trent. He prob wouldn't come to sit on the bench, but he's homegrown and all that, and arguably a lot better than Neco Williams.

Anyway, which players do you think we should sign that you've seen zero links to, and would be completely out the blue, therefore random, that would improve us in some way?

We should sign that Silas lad from the Bundesliga.

Nobody knows who he really is or how old he is

I know what.... let’s sign Jack Wilshire.

He’s just within our budget for transfer fees.

Bellerin was promising but then became more interested in fashion than football. He also gets injured a lot. Nathaniel Oxlade-Karius

Think I wrote this on another thread, but beneath the chubby, Mourinho hating, slightly workshy exterior, I think Ndombele could be a really good player. Given his downing of tools I’d like to think £20m gets him out of Spurs too. He is however exactly the opposite of a Klopp player so never going to happen. But on Footy Manager I’d be all over him.

I'll be looking at Moussa Diaby at Leverkusen. He'd been flying under the radar a bit given they had Havertz and Bailey, but I think he's going to have a breakout season this year.

A player I really like and interested to see back playing is Tariq Lamptey...not sure if those rent boys got a buy back option on him but he's 1 I'd defo look at snapping up.

I think he's really good, but he's just so small.

There was a centre back at Swansea - Andy Melville - who I always thought we should sign. That was about 30 odd years ago though, so not sure if he is still any good.
