All I am saying is that it doesn't matter. He's a young new signing in a new country, new team mates, and is coming into the best league in the world.
He plays in a position where it's reasonable to expect that he may need time to adapt.
I'm not saying that it's certain he will end up proving to be worth his price tag.
I'm saying that it's stupid to judge him this early.

I don't get the big deal here - yes it's super early days but also yes, he's been underwhelming so far. Where is the controversy?
It didn't look like a straightforward signing from the get go but was happy to be swept up with the hype.
He'll get time and patience but yeah there is pressure due to the price tag and hype... that's the game.
Ultimately the hope - putting aside numbers - is David Silva / Kevin De Bruyne levels of influence. By all accounts he's got the talent so transition to PL shouldn't be a problem. It's up to the coaching team to get the best out of everyone.

So basically, we cracked open Florian’s legendary “box of magic tricks,” expecting smoke, mirrors, and maybe even a dove. Instead, we found one sad juggling ball, four cobwebs, and a generous helping of woodrot. The grand reveal looked less like a magic show and more like the contents of a haunted shed. Now half the crowd want their money back, while the other half are just wondering if tetanus shots are included in the ticket price
Experience tells me that the goal posts will definitely be moved.

Well then, I’d say he’s made an underwhelming contribution n a successful team and you could legitimately say that for the sort of fee paid you’d expect more - because we could have signed someone at half the cost that could have delivered those numbers and we would have also won the league.
Don’t get me wrong - I reckon he’ll comfortably get past the 15 mark.
I think you can say you’re disappointed by an individual in a successful team - if he, as the main attacking 10 only produces those sort of figures then someone else is doing the heavy lifting he was bought specifically at significant cost to do.
I don’t think that’s unfair.
Besides… partly in my mind was to try and head off the inevitable Dreamie assertion at some point that Wirtz having cost 3 times as much as Mo should be producing 3 times the output to be considered anything other than an expensive failure.
